Willkommen zu einer neuen Runde Music Monday! Heute geht es um eine recht unbekannte Band aus Deutschland. 

Der Künstler

Abby ist eine Band aus Mannheim / Berlin mit 4 Mitgliedern: Filou, Tilly, Lorenzo und Henne. Sie gehören zum Genre Alternative und singen auf englisch. Das Debütalbum Friends & Enemies erschien 2013. Die Band arbeitet bereits an ihrem zweiten Studioalbum. Der Song Again ist auf dem Soundtrack von Die Tribute von Panem - Catching Fire zu finden, We don´t Worry auf dem des Filmes Schlussmacher.

Zu meinen Anspieltipps gehören Monsters, Streets, Like Kings und Wings & Feathers. Die Lieder sind größtenteils mit leichtem Elektro-Einschlag und etwas rockiger. Alternative trifft es da ganz gut, wie ich finde. Die Mischung gefällt mir sehr gut und ich kann die Band jedem empfehlen, der auf diese Musikrichtung mag. welcome to a new Music Monday! This time is about a mostly unknown german band namend Abby.

The band

Abby is a band from Mannheim / Berlin (Germany) with 4 members: Filou, Tilly, Lorenzo and Henne. They belong to the genre alternative and they sing their songs in english. Their first album were published in 2013, until now they are working on their second album. The song Again was published on the soundtrack of The Hunger Games - Catching Fire and the song We don´t Worry on the soundtrack of a german film called Schlussmacher.

My favorite songs are Monsters, Streets, Like Kings and Wings & Feathers. The songs are mostly with a electro-impact and rocking songs. Alternative describes it very well, I guess. I love the mixture of the songs and I can recommend the band to everyone who likes this music genre. Just listen to it :) You can find their song Monsters with the video on their homepage.
