Heute geht es um das Album Foiled von Blue October. Happy Music Monday! 

Die Künstler

Blue October ist eine amerikanische Rockband, die momentan aus fünf Männern besteht. Die Texte werden von Justin Furstenfeld, dem Sänger der Band geschrieben, 

und behandeln persönliche Lebenserfahrungen von ihm. Viele der Texte behandeln psychische Störungen, da der Sänger seit seinem 14. Lebensjahr an Depressionen leidet. Daher haben viele Lieder einen melancholischen Unterton. Die Band ist außerdem Mitglied einer deutschen Organisations namens Freunde fürs Leben, die für Aufklärung über Depressionen und Suizid sorgt. Gegründet wurde die Band bereits 1995, in dieser Zeit wurden 7 Studioalben, 3 Konzertalben und mehrere Singles veröffentlicht. 

Die CD

Foiled ist aggressiv, melancholisch, einzigartig, hoffnungsvoll. Es handelt von Liebe und Hass, von der Zerbrechlichkeit des Lebens und von Selbsthass. Wie typisch für Blue October ein Album voller Gefühle, extremer Emotionen und Gänsehauteffekt. Die wunderbare, gefühlvolle Stimme des Sängers unterstreichen die Texte hervorragend.

today I want to show you Foiled by Blue October. Happy Music Monday!

The band 

Blue October is an american rock band with five men. The texts are wrote by Justin Furstenfeld, the singer of the band. They are about experienes of his life. Most about the texts are about mental illness, because the singer has depression since the age of 14. That´s why so many songs are melancholic. The Band is as well member of a german organisation namend Freunde fürs Leben (Friends for Life), which spread awareness for depression and suicide.  
The band was founded in 1995 and they published 7 albums, 3 concert albums and some singles. 

The CD

Foiled is aggressive, melancholic, unique, hopeful. It´s about love and hate, the fragility of life and about self hate. Typical Blue October it´s a album full of feelings and extreme emotions. The wonderful, sentimental voice of the singer is perfect for the texts.
